Well the time has come to join the dark side. I loved my VQ being supercharger but just was not doing it for me. Like all of us I wanted more power and after weighing my options it was better for me to build an LS than build the VQ. So here is my progress so far...

Making it CA legal I'm pretty screwed..the gauges AEM infinity has a 350Z version that keeps your factory gauges working looking into that. If that does not work I might get the CD-7 dash.
I have some new pictures of the build..I wish I was farther ahead but like any build things pop up and modifications must be made.

The joys of wiring
Wanted to see how much space I have so I know how to make my intake
here is how my buddy ran his on his ls2 swap. if you wanted to change the look of the valve covers, you could look into Katech covers with coil relocation packs . also, what fuel rails are you using?
here is what the relocation pack makes it look like, i am going to cut the plugs off one day and solder the wires together so i can tuck it more under the fuel rail
That is a nice setup your friend has. The fuel rails are actually from ebay haha..but I stripped the ecoat and I hard anodized the rails and made my own cross over hose. I bought the Holley tall valve covers due to my comp cam rockers. That intake did he make himself or buy it?
