Hi there my name is Andy and I've completed the swap and the engine is running lovely, I have a problem though with the clutch i think it is contaminated and even since I've been driving the car it has a juddering when you engage gears but once engage it's fine so I'm going to take the gearbox out and replace it with another clutch can I have some recommendations on a replacement clutch. If it helps the engine produces 450 bhp and a cd09 gearbox, many thanks Andy

 

What are you using for a trans? If it’s adapted to the stock unit I would be looking at the adaptor plate/install as step 1.

If the clutch plate contaminated it would be slipping at high load not while shifting. Maybe check the slave cylinder, bearing and fork.

Is it using 350z clutch? Southbend has a lot of single plate clutches that are good for up to 800+ Ft-Lb and they drive good and not too expensive.
