I'm guessing he only made 300whp at whatever psi setting the 236 was at 4900 rpm. It can obviously go high with bigger injectors and more psi. They're probably only running like 4 psi through that thing right now

I saw the graph. The way it's headed, I would guess more like closer to 350HP at the top, not 300HP. But, 300HP would be great for the money.

It's a 5862 on 3.5L Nissan motor. It's going to make power. The PSI and the tuning is where it will make more/make less. Whether RevoldZ make 400HP at 15psi or 300HP at 4psi........really not the turbokit's issue. I guess what I'm getting at is from a purchasing decision standpoint, I would think the quality of the pipes, the installation issues, and the turbo placement would be more important. Like with the turbo, he could have supplied a $50 Ebay turbo with horrible blade to wall gaps and make horrible power. To me, it's about the turbo kit.

I'm PM'ing RevoldZ to give us that opinion.

haha thanks for that message

my car made 215rwhp @ 6300rpm and 205rwtq, only mod was 3"exhaust and a intake. this was on JGY's , mustang dyno aka the heart breaker haha but atleast its the true power to the ground number.

and with the turbo kit on we only did a few shake down runs up too 5000rpm, so there is why we made the number comparison at 4900rpm's

today we should be able to put a full pull in and see what the full power is!

but as for the kit everything seems great! smooth bends, great weldss, fitment was great, and my favorite part... the COST! and you just cant go wrong with the precision turbo/wastegate. thats def what makes it happen. And the uprev tuning of course!

OK, we finished.

We managed to make some good power.

Unfortunately, as we were hoping would not be the case, RevolvdZ ran out of fuel at the end.

Past 5300rpms, he ran out of injector. We found the wall.....about 300HP.

So, we graphed it from 5250.

NA, he made 180HP and 180tq at 5250. Turbo'd we netted a 284HP and 283tq at 5250. That's a 100HP/tq gain.

We included the chart.

From 2000 rpm and on, it was nothing but more HP and TQ from the NA pulls.

This was just at 6psi of boost. These are great results.

We think this is a great result and shows the awesomeness of this great priced turbo kit.

Enjoy
Peace

I'm not going to lie, I expected more. A lot more. I think with upgraded injectors, fuel, more psi and more supporting mods revolvedZ should get to 350 but 400 is probably out of the question

I don't think you guys understand what I did here... I maxed out my injectors. So I didn't even make peak power. And your saying 100 hp/tq gain is not good at 6 psi?? And not even making it to my peak??

Of course I'm going to install larger injectors and pump! And I would suggest the same to anyone.and looking at the chart and comparing it to my n/a max chart, the car will make my goal of 350rwhp AT 6psi!!! How can that be negative?? Turn the boost up make 400 all day, and I don't want more then that on stock motor.

I'm stoked about the out come, ill post up as soon as I get my injectors in.

Really interested to see the outcome with upgraded injectors, fuel and more psi. I still don't think 400 is attainable in that car though unless you're at 12 psi or more which probably isn't good for the engine.

Bc the kit draws attention to cheap. When you start adding fuel pump injectors bigger ic oil pan spacer oil cooler ems etc your gonna be dancing with other KNOWN kits.

Thanks! Now you see! i ran stock injectors and pump just to make a example you could say.

Pump and injectors is not that expensive to add , so its no biggie . Theres room to grow with this kit, instead of drippin 6k all at once haha , the budget guys will understand what I'm sayin

From the pictures, all the piping looks like the piping did on my Turbonetics kit. Is this just a replica kit with a nicer turbo? If the piping is the same size, wouldn't this kit struggle, like the Turbonetics kit does, to make 500+HP? There are a few threads, in the FI section, where guys upgraded the turbo and still struggled to make 500+hp on the Turbonetics kit. The general consensus was that the piping and intercooler where too small.

I'm not hating on this kit, for the price, if it fits decently, nobody can really complain. I'm just curious.

RevolvedZ, are you going to run as much PSI as possible to get to 400whp or are you going to run a safe psi like 7-8 and see what that nets you with upgraded parts?

What I'm interested to see are a list of other supporting mods NEEDED for this kit with prices, such as injectors, Engine Mgmt etc. I think thos will allow is to be able to really COMPARE it with a full kit with everything already included.

as of now you may know im on a super conservative 7psi due to the lack of fuel but my plan is to see what the max number i can get at 7psi, then turn up to a max of 10 and see where that puts me, me and the guys picked the best turbo combo to get me my 400 @ 10psi, so we shall see what the dyno says!

but either way, when i decided on going turbo, my max power goal was in the 350-400rwhp at a safe psi, and im pretty confident ill be in that ball game!
