you guys keep bashing this guy's Scion, but he's been setting FWD lap records ever since he put that wing on. He's even beating most of the other classes as well... so yes it's like nothing we've ever seen before, but so what... if you're a real automotive enthusiast the last thing you would be doing is bashing something that allows your car to perform better, no matter how it looks.
I think they're gonna make some new rule restrictions to do with front wings just because Rado is tearing it up this year with this setup...

It may indeed look ridiculous, but that thing was lapping 1:03's. If I am looking at the results right it was the 2nd fastest of the day. Pretty effin good for a FWD format. It helps having a monstrous budget for development too.

I'm sure that guy knows what he's doing, but would it hurt to mount that wing straight to the hood at that angle?
I mean does height of a wing make a difference in downforce or just angle?
*edit- more "flush" with the hood, I realize the certain range of heights would kill driver vision.
