Miami Mile April 10th.. Awsome time
The Mile Marker 1 run was an amazing experience! Everything from a 1000cc shifter cart to a Porsche Carrera GT ran in the event.. it was Vettes for the most part. Fastest car standing mile was a Twin Turbo C5 Vette @ 204.2! There was a Turbine powered funny car that ran a 285mph mile too. Representing Nissan was a pair of GTR's and 3 350's.. A Nismo, Jim Wolf TT'd, and mine(stock.. intake and exhaust). Here's pics.. the next event is in Oct and hopefully I'll be boosted to compete. I'd def recommend the event for spectators and racers alike.
My times:
114mph.. Misjudged the exit and slammed my brakes at 8/10's of a mile.. my bad.
134.4mph.. Horrible launch but thanks to a tailwind and crisp shifting I was able to get passed 130mph
134.7mph.. Missed 2nd but still managed a 134.7
134.8mph.. Best launch, no misses but I started getting a nasty cross wind on the runway, it didnt make my squirm or anything but it did hurt my top end speed.
At that speed my Z was solid.. my only indication of my speed other than the speedo was the wind noise.
Notable times:
Supra.. 199.8 mph
TT'd Z.. 177 mph
Nismo.. 154 mph
Carrera GT.. 176.5 mph
GTR.. 165.5 mph
996 Porsche.. 179mph

He was a no show... The only supra there was the red one pictured. I don't know why he'd make a bet for 240mph when the standing mile record is 253 mph completed by a TT'd Ford GT which happends to be the World Record.

Luv the Gixxer....is there any any TeamLSR there(black 03' Turbo busa with 700+ hp)
BTW,the yammie R1 cart is spinning right?I think I see that on youtube.
And I see red Oscar NSX there...he doing good despite being the stock 3.2 C32B,6 speed tranny(other 2 NSX was running with turbo)
Good event & hope to see more Z running in the field!

He had an intake and a cobb tune.. aside from that he was stock. I can tell you that there was another black Z and he told me that his car didnt feel all that stable at 140mph, I couldnt imagine 179mph.. mine was well planted. That first turn off mistake I made... well it was executed at about 90mph.

yeah that was me !!!, let see if i'm ready for the next event I still have to retune the z with the haltech and install the APS fuel system , 14-16 psi on E85, ans 18-20 on c16, but if I run I'll do it with 14 psi on E85, that is going to be my DD MAP, i do have some videos and pictures too from april, but not as good as the one you posted.
