Depends on your taste. I personally think that carbon fiber is nice if it serves a purpose. We have an aluminum hood from the factory, so the weight savings is minimal at best. Fitment always sucks as well. NOTHING is better than oem when it comes to fitment of body panels etc.

I personally like cf hoods btw in a week or so once I hit 300 posts I will be doing a gb or seibon and vis hoods for both g35 and 350z. I have already worked out pricing as I want a CF vented hood badly, my exterior needs a little something hood will be first

Thanks,

Chris

It's carbon fiber and painted. It's a VIS hood. It fits pretty well. It needed some side to side adjustment. It's aftermarket and they never fit like OEM anyway but I'm way satisfied with it.

I don't think it looks right unless you go all the way on top (CF hatch, CF wing, black roof)

You can also paint the hood and leave the vents in CF. That's just another idea.
