Yeah, from the pictures they look cheesy. Not a REAL CHROME look, more like just polished Made IN CHINA (MIC). I wonder how they compare in strength to OEM ones? Like I said, from the picture they look really poor and specially for $99.00, like others stated it looks like HOME DEPOT kit. I could be wrong?

That's fine, I don't mind that either but the bolts just look so HOME DEPOT (MIC) man, compare the Original design with the ones supplied. The picture clearly shows a side by side comparision. Im sorry but green or not the OEM one's look a lot nicer in than just a flat top head. I like how it has a dish inside look at the pic even the washers seem smaller... I don't know but just by looking at those pics I woldn't pay $100.00 for that? Id rather just polish them myself, not that hard I did it before you can buy the stuff to do it.. Actually i'll show you guys and post pictures so you can compare...

The stainless bolts in the kit are all A2 grade 18-8 with a tensile strength of 100,000 to 120,000 psi. The kit is not cheap, but unless you plan to buy bolts in quantities of 100 or more you will be hard pressed to do it yourself for much less. If there were less sizes required it would cost much less. Also metric acorn nuts and fender washers are costly in stainless.
The bolts and large washers are polished on a buffing wheel using a special green compound made specifically for stainless. It does better than the red rouge you will find at home depot.
After buffing, each bolt or washer is hand polished with a new england metal polish. This really brings out the shine and helps the shine last longer.
I too would have preferred bolts with no markings, but that doubles the cost. I looked at chrome, but chrome can chip during installation and will rust over time. I did all chrome on a small block Chevy powered 240Z I had and the hex head bolts were a problem.
One option is you can get button head bolts that are smooth. Unfortunately they are nearly twice the cost and then you will need several metric allen wrenches to install.

The bolts pictured above are custom made flange head bolts. The washer is welded onto the bolt. I thought it looked better than a regular bolt and fender washer. If everyone thinks a standard bolt and larger washer would look better I can change the kit.
