Default Got my windows tinted this week

I finally got my windows tinted this week, they did a great job as usual. It's only 40% tint but with the black interior it looks so much darker. Combined with the time of day I took the pictures but they really do look pretty dark in person to only be 40% (which btw is legal in NC). I wanted to stay legal, didn't want to worry about getting inspections, tickets etc...

Let me know what you guys think, will get some more pics today in the sun.

????

What exactly I scared of? I didn't want darker tint, personally i don't like 5% tint, I have had that dark before and night driving is not the best. I still want people to see who is in the car. Anway, more pics of the car during the day.

Maybe your scared of the law because you mention something about staying legal not wanting tickets and some crap about inspection. Now really what are the chances of you getting a ticket just for tint, highly unlikely and so what if you got a ticket. Pay the freaking 100 dollars and some change ticket for the tint and plus the traffic violation that came with it, that might of gotten you the ticket for your tint to begin with. If you wanted peoples to see you in the car why even bother with tint?

ATTACK ATTACK

Best to not draw more attention then to duck, dodge, and wonder if you will get caught.

i actually know a bunch of people that have gotten tint tickets. i can think of 5 people off the top of my head. and cops in most of Miami aren't very strict about tint because of the summer heat.

That looks really good. I like how subtle it is. I've been toying with the idea of getting tint for awhile now...maybe I'll go a little lighter like you did...
I don't like how tint limits your ability to see who's behind you at night. I like to be able to tell which cars are cops and which ones aren't....

I really like that shift **** too...where's that from?

Nice ... I sometimes wish I went less dark on my CS (I have 17%) ... nighttime driving is fine, but reverse at night sometimes makes me a) hang out the window or b)open the hatch .... which gets really annoying. But, the darkness does look nice and keeps thats sun off of me

The shift **** is isotta. I got it a while back and it was relatively inexpensive. Can't remember where though, sorry but try google.

PainProphet,
Thanks for the Xbox comments, it is my favorite part about my install

Well the X-BOX coming out of the dash is pimp.

the tint is a little on the light side.....around here as long your driving an high dollar car and its not ghetto'd out you will hav eno trouble with TINT, Nor front license plates.

nissan_fanatic,

Looks good, I just got my SB done two weeks ago with 20% all around. I have been pulled over and given a ticket for my tint before. This is my car for weekends, so I thought I could chance it.

I need to see your interior equipment in person some time. Everything looks good.

i got a 35% tint put on yesterday on all the widows but the front windshield.... i think it is the perfect tint. first of all, it looks dark from the outside, but not completely blacked out. second, you maintain just about the same amount of visibility when you are driving as when the windows were stock. i will post pics tomorrow night after detailing.

also, i am considering getting a 50% tint over the entire front windshield. i saw the tint shop owners car with 50% on the front windshield... and it looked real nice without decreasing visibility whatsoever. whats ur opionion of a 50% tint across the entire front windshield?????

i wanted to do that too, but that's just asking for trouble - at least around miami.
