i think he just meant that it's hard to tell the difference between your painted exhaust and a stock exhaust. honestly, i can't tell myself. do you have any close up pics?

What he said. From that angle/distance, its impossible to tell the difference. And I don't even own a Z.

Hi SB350, I did it a while back and get asked what exhaust I up-grade to, all the time.......I used a heat resistant, RUST-OLEUM Bright Coat, w/ Chrome cap.....It turns out like a nice Aluminum finish. Here's a pic of mine, Dave

I just refresh paint every few months or so.....ooops, forgot it was in my signature.....

Did you remove the muffler when you first painted it? How far forward did you paint the pipes, or did you just paint the muffler and tail pipes? Looks great.

Just masked off with newspaper,(made real sure nothing showing), Sprayed the muffler and pieces up to the Chrome tips,( obviously not the tips),.......It took no time at all, and it's a piece of cake to refresh every so often cause of road grime or whatever......Cheapest mod I've done......Like I said, A lot of comments, and I like the sound of the stock exhaust......Only way I would change it, is if I ever upgrade to a true dual exhaust......p.s. Hi Juice, I did'nt mean to nose into your thread. Sorry, Dave
