50% on this car looks great. i know its a great move in terms of aesthetics and practicality, but the only issue now is legality. I think i will go ahead and set this as my next mod...
btw... how will my car be towed on the spot if the front windshield is very subtley tinted? im not looking to black it out whatsoever!
I would have tinted my windshield but I have TV antennas in it and I like the reception I get so I didn't tint it. However, I have had other cars like my conv 300zx with a tinted windshield and I never got sighted for a tinted windshield. They were to busy writing me speeding tickets instead.. point being cops never noticed the difference. I would recommend 50% if you were going to do it... 35% is kind of dark at night.
If you tint your windsheild are you unable to wear sunglasses also? I have a roadster and need to wear sunglasses with the top down and am thinking that with the windshield tinted it would be too dark.

I limo tint all windows and 3 percent on front and have been fortunate enough to never get cited for it. I get pulled over for other things but they never even comment on my tint. I did it because it is hot as hell out here and with black cars you cook. I highly recomend it both for visual appeal and for also keeping heat out.

i have 35 on all my windows but the windshield... i dont notice any decreased visibility. the tinter also told me 35 is the lowest u can go without losing visibility. but the tinter reccomended 50% on the windshield, since it will give u a lesser chance of getting pulled over. i think if i do get it done, i will go with 35%. no matter what, its illegal. 50% is not that noticable... 35 is a nice smoked look.
