I do. After cleaning the car, I noticed what seemed to be a spot of dirt partially under the rear nissan logo. After closer examination, I found out that it wasn't dirt but rust developing. The local Nissan dealership will get to my car later on this month but what a bummer.

Anybody starting to get rust on your car? Sound off.

 

i have rust too, but its from paint chips. on the front of my car, around the front fenders, there have been some good size chip marks. (the size of a nerd candy).

anyways, cause i held off on the touch up paint, the metal started rusting. What i did was get some high grit sand paper, and sanded some paint off and the rust, then got a fine fine fine brush and touched it up. you can't tell anymore.

if the paint chipped and you didn't do anything, expect some rust.

I have rust from the black paint scrubbing off underneath the car... :-( stupid road construction.

Any suggestions on how to remove this rust and repaint the things underneath the car?

 

The thing is there is no paint chip on the back by the nissan logo. Looks like maybe something off the logo might have done this.

 

i had a little bump in the paint on my roof over the passengers side, it broke off and there was rust under it, it is about 1/8" dia.

 

front wheel well rock chip rust here too

 

well that sucks.

 

its just metal. hood wont rust since its aluminum. but the rest is just metal... exposed metal rusts. bring it to the dealer and let them sort it out, or sand it down yourself and fill it in.
