Default adding seats with airbag

heya would it be possible to swap in seats with the airbags into non air seats?

do they just plug in an empty plug somewhere under seat or??

yes, on some seats if you look at the out side theres a special sewn patch looking area that says "SRS" (airbags)
they are usually in models with the side curtain (over the window allon the roof edge it says air bag also "

anyways that was my queston if you can swap the seats and still have them function with SRS

the airbags come out of the sides of the seat for side protection, they are not integrated into the door for obvious reasons if the door should open in an accident they couldnt very wel protect you

ahh ok well
I guess i will have to resort to
calling the dealer service dept.
probably more than one because sometimes they make a Guess instead of actually looking somethin up...
hehe well thanks anyway

If you do remove your seats equipped with side air bags... (Side courtan air bags come from above the window)...

Then you will want this to get rid of the air bag warning light...
