Default debadging the Z questions...

i want to take off the front and rear nissan burgers to put some custom stuff there. are there holes under the rear badge on an 05 model or not? i assume the front has no holes. also, what is the best method for taking off the emblems? prying it carefully and then using goo-gone on the adhesive?

TIA

Harv

Use a heatgun until the adhesive gets a little soft.

Use dental floss to cut through the gum.

Wrap a flat head screwdriver with a grocery bag so it won't scratch your car.

Now slowly lift the emblem up all around with the flathead so you can access the gum easier with the floss.

Clean residue with goo-gone.

In the front, the coupe and roadsters have two "tit prongs"' sticking out. In the rear the coupe has two holes and the roadster has none.

Go with the instructions of the previous poster...I used fishing wire and I "sawed" & pulled upwards each time, do not pull side to side. The key is take your time. lol
