Default Body Kit's and Lowering

I was just wondering if any of you had issues with scraping front lips everywhere. I have the eibach springs and im looking to add the v1 lip with greddy sides but I'm worried im gonna ruin the lip from scraping. Any feedback would be appreciated thanks.

Yeah, i just put my nismo lip on and am scraping it already. Not a whole lot, but it is scraping here an there. I drive pretty careful too hitting speed bumps and ramps on an angle. My car is dropped about the same as the eibach kit.

Same here.. you learn pretty quickly what driveways are too steep, and what speed-bumps are too high.

I think i will second that motion. If I cannot get over speed humps without scraping, then my car will be sat on the drive and going nowhere, and that is one thing it will not be doing!

I had the Eibach, and Veilside v1 lip, then I discovered it was too low... then I switched them out for Tein S.Tech, which is about 0.7" drop. It helped but still got to be careful when going up and down the driveway... the front lip gets scratched from both sides if you are not careful..

Im wanting to go back to a stock body kit with only the JDM Rear Wing...

but the stock body parts are too expensive...

any donations in silver stone or super black would be greatly appreciated including the rear bumper!

I dont want the factory splash guards

hehe

dont pay attention to the ugly body graphics...

Jason,

Donations as in "free", hahahahahahahahahahaha.

Let me see what I do to mine first. If I do get a kit, which may not happen, then I will let you know and see what we can "arrange".

No promises though.

I thought long and hard about lowering, but Z is pretty damn low as is. I've already scraped plenty. I got 19" wheels and the gap isn't bad at all.

Cannysage,

Same here man. I thougt about it from time to time. The fact is that i have a 275/30/19 in the back, the gap is a little more noticeable.

I bought the set (tire/rim) used, but since the tires are so new, i am not going to waste $500+ (yet) to replace the rubber.

eibach springs here and a lip for about 6 months... scraped once. Just gotta know how to drive a low car. takes practice and pissed off people behind you when you creep over bumps.
