I say, colored carbon fiber, or get the carbon fiber and paint it (just make sure you can still see the weave).

Wow - I've never even heard of doing that. Do you know where I can see some pictures? I am also toying with the idea of the built-in monitor (in the CF example that chucks the nav cubby), but am very worried about the glare.
