Default Uhh ohh... :(

So.. I recently ordered some overlays from bat, installed them and have driven my car 3 times since the install.. and .. the right side vinyl is 'flaking away' I don't fault Bat on this. The cut of the overlay is perfect.. I think that maybe the vinyl was cheeze? I tried emailing bat.. but only got a very short response. I just started to actually like the look of these too.. Hopefully Bat cna help me to figure out where the failure occured.

Might be the vinyl..perhaps the yellow isn't as sturdy as the tinted ones.

I've had the 3/10 forever (almost a year) and have had no problems at all.

As for the quality of the vinyl.. thats where my thoughts are leaning.. the other headlight is perfect... maybe the glue that keeps it down in that section was not sticky enough?

Yea.. I still have not heard from bat.. So I guess I would overall recomend against them. Its too bad. The cut was great.. I think that the materials stink. I'm gonna pull them off some time this week.

Bat may be away. Give him time to respond. He always comes thru in my many dealings with him.

Looks like they just couldn't stand the heat. You can tell by looking at it, it looks exactly like how plastic melts. That spot is prolly extra hot due to the curvature of the headlights or similar.
