Low oil pressure:

Could be...

1. Bad oil pressure sender
2. Bad oil pump

Outside temp has no drastic effect on the engine oil pressure once the vehicle has reached operating temperature....

So on idle the psi should be around 50? mine drops close to about 10 or 20 psi??? closer to zero on idle but on the gas it will go to about 60 depending how hard im driving.

When the car is fully warmed up
1. Idle must be ~20psi
2. 3000rpm must be atleast ~60psi

Mine sits at or slightly below 30 at idle when its warmed up. Under power it can go up to 60 or slightly higher when accelerating.

The OEM gauge is notoriously inaccurate. I have seen them read zero, and seen them maxed out at 120psi. When we install aftermarket oil pressure gauges, the readings are usually very different from the OEM gauge.

Mine at idle, after driving it for 20 min or so, sets at ~15 psi. When cruising about 3000rpms, it sets at ~65. At WOT its ~75ish. And +1 on what Sharif said

Idle oil psi is always at its worst with fresh oil and filter, before the light fractions burn off.
15 psi [with an accurate gauge] is plenty at extremely hot idle rpm
