looks as if the clear coat bubbled, or someone draped brake fluid over them.

You could maybe try ScratchX on it . . . that may fix the surface imperfections and smooth things out.

Try to rub some vinegar on it, it could be oxidation from acid rain or sprinklers. If that still doesn't work then i am afraid it needs repainting.

I left my car in front of the yard irrigation sprayers one night, and it left spots exactly like that all over the hood.

A little scrubbing and the spots disappeared.

if they really dont come off with claybar, not likely its any sort of surface deposit.

looks like the paint or plastic outgassed and bubbled the clearcoat. could be a reaction between the paint and plastic used too. or just a bad batch of paint. gonna need to be repainted either way.

Those look like water spots, I would clay bar em then polish. Do they feel raised up or no?

If it's truly not a surface deposit, the shop failed to properly clean the surface before clearcoating. It may have looked clean to the naked eye, but the application of the clearcoat allowed the contaminant to separate the coating from the paint.

thanks all for your opinions i really appriciate it...

i am sending it tonight back to the place that painted them. it is def not a surface deposit. i think one of you is correct in the fact that the surface was not properly primed or moisture somehow affected the layer between the clearcoat and paint. there is no surface inperfection which is what bothers me the most....an any rate, i'll be getting it repainted for free. i'm glad the company didn't shrug me off either.

thanks again guys
