Default Simoniz System 5??

Well, today a took the plunge and bought a 2005 SB and traded in my 2003, long story got a great deal. The dealer menchioned this option, basaclly a glorified clear coat. I have a week to decide, has anyone heard of this before and is it worth it?? I know just the short time I had my 2003, the paint was already showing small signs of wear and tear.

I wouldn't go for the Simoniz System 5 snake oil. When you mentioned that your 2003 showed early signs of wear and tear, you were probably referring to paint chips due to small rocks bombarding the front of your vehicle. The System 5 application will NOT protect against those particular dilemmas.
They state:
The Simoniz SYSTEM 5 warranty program will repair or repaint your vehicle if it should develop paint damage caused by acid rain, tree sap, bird waste or UV from the sun.
