Default Front headlight overlays with holes?

In the spirit of rear tail lights overlays with holes. I was just throwing around some ideas of what some front headlight overlays with a cutout would look like. I altered a pic, and I think it looks kind of mean. What to you guys think, am I crazy?

I think you'll need bigger holes for your light to shine through properly.

For a solid color overlay I think it would cause a problem with the beam. But I was actually thinking of a 6/10 smoke overlay. I think some people have their whole headlight covered with tint this dark.

Not to be racist, but the Z looks stupid like that--slant eyed. IMO it makes an agressive Porsche-like car look like a character from the kids' show Pokemon.

Two thumbs wayyy down. To each his own though...

Yeah. For the " Z's headlights", I think it'll looks better solid if it were to have holes (similar to the eyelines that Bat designed). Once you turn on your lights, IMO...I think it'll look a little funky at night when the light shines through both the tinted & non-tinted areas. Now, if our headlights were designed more like the G's then yes I would say the tint will look fine. I feel that there is too much space inside the Z headlights for you to use a tint with holes layout. Just my .02 cents.

Just hitting home with James here:

I can sorta see a design with the G, but on the Z the assembly itself flows with the cars lines, and this breaks it up considerably.

Good luck with your decision.

Hey LaidbackRacr,

You should check with Bat. Last time I checked, he has a spare pair of headlight housings that he was selling. I believe it is a non-HID housing but I'm sure you can easily integrate your HIDs to it. Worth checking if you don't want to buy a brand new set. I believe the price was in the upper/mid $200s for both left & right.
