If you make the do luck style hood I will buy it...Pissed that I cant use my aftermarket Strut bar now that I put the plenum spacer on, so i could use the clearance. Awaiting those DB pics =)

I just got it last night, its only got 38mi on it

 

My CF hood just got delivered!!! Box was in one piece no holes.. Your shipper's took good care of the package.. I'm trying to not unwrap the whole thing before I go to install it (just to keep it from getting scratched).

The hood was very well bubble wrapped and mounted on 2 wooden sticks so I could prop it up without damaging it:



I think Robert is right, the color is a very close match for the redline Z (maybe slightly darker if it is different).. Unfortunately, I can't do a comparison right away as I don't get my car back from the body shop until later today (for front bumper refinish)... close up of CF with flash:



close up w/o flash (my camera tints a little bit blue without flash).. The hatch patern is small and there is some slight silver in it..


Here's the latch.. This area seems a little messy but I'm hoping that it should latch up fine with no fuss:


The rest of the underside looks very clean..

and it goes on tonight!!! and I'll take more pics then... lemme know if anyone would like to see any special views or has anything you want me to look at and comment on..
