yea get ready to drop about $1000 - $1500 for that too. mabey you should look around and do a search on the forum and see what everyone has done to their headlights already.

Out of curiousity, As far as Clearcorners.com is concern, is it really that difficult to take apart your headlight housing, paint in the interior of your preferred color and put it back together? I mean come on...

If you can do what they do for less money and guarantee your work, you'll find a ton of customers here!

I mean that in all seriousness. I like the headlights clearcorners.com has, but I'm not (yet) willing to pay $1k for them. If someone could do something similar for less, I'd be all over it.

This is where being a Civic Owner helps =). I've cracked apart many headlights (hondas) and black housed them and cleared them out before.

The only bad part is sometimes the glue looks sloppy when put back together. Other than that it turns out pretty good.

I would volunteer to do that for ya'll, but I would be afraid to crack apart a $600 part and messing up or having it look less than perfect once finished.

send a pm to Mr Zipps. He is a forum member here. He paints housings and can remove the amber strip and whatnot if anyone wants. Ive met him and seen some of his work, it is pretty good, and he has a lot of experience.
If you want an example, check out Blue Batmobile's headlights, he did those.

I just blacked out my headlights this past weekend. It looks amazing, but geez what a PAIN in the ace. If you are going to do this mod, only start when you have at LEAST 8-10 hours available of your car being apart to allow for drying time before you rebake the casings. Otherwise the heat will dull the clearcoat. This job required much more patience than i was expecting, but definately worth it...
