Default Those who have a nose mask....

Question, I couldnt exactly find the answer searching. The factory vinyl nose mask, how easy is it to take on & off? and, if you've had it for a long time, has it discolored or faded your paint?

Im contemplating buying one, but not if its a PITA to put on & take off. My front nose is starting to look like it has freckles..

I really don't take mine off. I unsnap it from the wheel wells, and simply unhook it from the engine bay and it'll let me get to most of everything under it.

I got mine AFTER I had a ton of stone chips, so I'm not overly concerned with any paint under the mask. It's very east to revome and clean and wax under if you want.

Where did you get yours? I was thinking of getting the one from Courtesy Nissan for $99.00.

That's Exactly the one I have.

I would have gotten the 3M clear bra, but I had too many rock chips, far too quickly. I have a black Z and the black Nose Mask doesn't look bad at all.

I just thought of something.. Lets say you want to do an oil change, and you have to take off the plastic under panel off from underneath the engine. Does it get in the way, do you have to remove the mask in order to get that panel out?

Nope, it does not interfere with the lower plastic panel at all.

Ohhh. LOL. I thought this thread was about those masks that NBA players wear when they break their nose.

Dave (was confused as all hell for a minute)

And I thought it was about Michael Jackson and his nose/breathing mask... although he isn't really known for that anymore in light of some personal troubles he currently has....

I just downloaded the manual off of the Coutesyparts website.

Anyhow, after downloading the instructions, I've decided not to go with the nose mask and just, repaint it in a year or two.

Taking it off seems to be more complicated than taking off the bra on a girl with a 44 DD chest. Too many hooks, snaps, straps & elastic.....

Nothing complicated about that... just rip that sh*t off!

But I guess you wouldn't want to do that with the Z bra though... the incentive just isn't there for that
