Default Bra/Nose Mask Question

I am looking to buy a front nose mask (vinyl) to use on my car specifically during long highway road trips which I make a few times per year. I recently bought a new front bumper and had it painted, and do not with for the same chipping effect which my stock bumper developed after a year or two of daily driving.

The only hang up is that I have a front lip (US Nismo) and understand that the factory bra will not fit. Is there any way the factory bra can be modified, or be stretched around the lip? I do not necessarily have to cover the lip with the bra, I could even tape that off with tape as I would for a track day, and it would be used so infrequently that if it required a bit of time to affix I would not mind.

Clear bra is not an option as I despise the look and only want this bumper protection for the highway trips I mentioned previously.

Any thoughts?

I have the Colgan, which I only use for long highway trips. I also have the NISMO front lip. My solution was to take the bra to an auto upholstery shop and have them modify it to fit the lip. Not cheap (basically doubled the cost of the bra) but it looks good and works extremely well. I don't have photos right now since it isn't on the car.

I modified the Colgan bra myself. I didn't have to change a bit of vinyl.

I just changed the anchor points a bit, and drilled holes in the lower fender wraps to accomodate attaching to the underbody tray. After a few warm days, and adjusting the lower anchors, the vinyl looks great. I'll post pics this evening.

I hade the OEM bra and sold it after getting front lip and the Street Scene grill. Wouldn't work with either.

The thing I don't understand about these bras is...

Doesn't dirt get trapped in between the bra and the paint, which would cause scratches when the bra shifts or moves?

my bra is tight...and i take it off if i know it's going to rain. it's protected my bumper from bugs, rocks, etc and best of all, it makes cleaning the car so much easier.

the back side stays clean. if there is a spec of dust on the back i'll vaccum it.
