I think I am going to give it a shot b/c, only time will tell how bad I screw it up.

That is definitely sweet. I could've sworn that I saw a website that is selling these dome lights that do the same thing that Acree's do... but it was a while ago and I didn't subscribe to that thread.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about??? I know I didn't just dream this up.

Also, do you think it would be possible to put some kind of dimmers on them, because MAN those things are pretty bright, especially at night! I mean I like them bright when you want the mood and you are outside the car, and also while you are looking for something in the car, but while your driving I just think it's just a little too bright, and I think a dimming **** will be perfect.

Actually the whites weren't as bright as I had liked, so I went back and made a complete LED array in the dome light. But a dimmer **** would be something very easy to do. I am available to do dome light conversions. PM me for info. The other website you were thinking of is ClearCorners.com. They do excellent work, but you gotta pay to play.

Oh BTW...their pricing on these things is freaking insane!! Has anyone actually bought these? I mean that is a HUGE price to pay for this mod.

Ooh...quick question also. I know that the colored bulbs are on when the door is open or the car is unlocked...but is it possible to have the colored ones on while driving at all?

That particular dome piece is from a G35 (I believe). I could be wrong. But I thought that G35's come with sunroofs? I'm not too sure on that one either.

Yes it is possible to have the colored leds come on while driving, open the door. No but seriously, it could be done with adding another small switch so you could choose colored or white to come on. I'm able to do probably anything you can think of. PM if you're interested.
