so did you paint it or use an overlay? Im guessing no turn signals, brights, or parking lights remain though; little dangerous and illegal I suppose. but what isnt these days. good kill, be careful

 

Actually all I did was cut out everywhere the light shines through ..
I am going to redo the top ones ..and cut a small slit for the turn signals ..
Cop looked at it yesterday and said I was good to go once I cut the holes for the turn signal light ...
He said I should be a lil careful with the HID swap ( he is a freind of mine) .

Keep in mind I have never worked with this stuff before but for my first time I didnt do half bad ... doesnt look too bad in the day either ..

 

I did the same thing to my Z, course first time ruined my lens and had to purchase new housings

 

How did you ruin the housings?

I actually just applied a solid black vinyl to the aero shield (3m) ones that performance nissan carries ..

So as not to screw up the actual headlight housing. I didnt like the smoked ones from Performance...looked like a dirty coffee color over the lights ..
not good at all ..
