Default Carbon Creations Drifter 2 Body Kit

What do you guys think about the Carbon Creations Drifter 2 body kit. I'm really starting to like it.

I believe it is a custom front, with the sides and rear look almost identical to the INGS+1 N1/Inital D kit.

Does anybody know anything about the fitment and quality of the kit?

Also, can a kit like this be painted over?

With a pricetag of 2k, I'd like to know as much as possible.

Hello, I have sold that full kit from Carbon Creations to a customer of mine, He said it was nice and clean install, it took the body shop a good full day to Re & Re the whole job. As for painting it over, Its no problem. Give a good edge to the clear coat not going to deep into the carbon fiber. then prep the kit , pick your candys and purles.

I can give you that kit @ a discounted price if your intrested.

email plt@tradesource.ca

I also have another kit instock for the 350z if your intrested. here is the pics

This is a 9 peice kit, Full front and rear bumpers, 2 side skirts, 4 fenders fronts and rears and a gas cap. this kit is an excellent fitting body kit and is made out of fiberglass.

The pics are from XS Customs 350z for others to view.

Default Hahahah!!

There is a whole thread about my car and i didn't even know!! Tooo Funny.

Thai thanks for reminding me about that damn brick !! I hit a Brick on the 10 freeway at about 90mph going to a pomona show, It was dark and I am lucky it held up. For those of you that have seen my car this was a first run prototype and it came out damn good!!
It is not a copy or replica of anything just to end all that nonsense , we spent months fabing it from a few different designs. I got the new hood on and it fits perfect, the production kit will be on the car very soon we are waiting for shipping. If you have any questions ask ME I will give you CORRECT answers to anything you want to know. if you want to see the car hit me up, I am always looking for a excuse to drive it.

I like your ride man. What specific kind of damage did the brick do to your carbon fiber kit?

Also, how durable would you say this particular kit is compared to other urethane/frp/hybrid/carbon fiber kits?

Thanks in advance

Honestly I am supprised it held up, I was flying when i hit that brick and I thought for sure the bumper ripped off, it shattered the epoxy where the brick hit and cracked up by the right light, also it hit so hard the bumper hit the front tire and there are soem stress cracks on the inner part of the bumper, when carbon breaks there is no fixing it unless you bondo and paint over it. Urethane is really cool if weight isn't an issue my old wald kit was frp i think and it was light and thin. I have not seen real any problems with glass except paint issues... Sinful Enhancments down in SD used a new Dupont clear on my first kit that had a ton of flex instead of cracking or chipping. I would recomend it to anyone other than that The new materials Extreme dimensions are using for there kits have the flex of eurethane but are light as glass so check them out 4 sure.

Is that hood part of the kit? And is that just an OEM F hood or is it raised in the center similar to the do-luck?
