Default Veilside V1 Front Lip Owners... PLEASE READ!

how much did you pay to have your veilside v1 front lip painted? i purchased the urethane version, and I was wondering what price i should expect to pay for paint and install. Thanks in advance!

paint should run from $175-$300, depending on the body shop.
install is pretty simple and can be done on your own.

I got mine painted FLAWLESSLY for 140 and that included FOUR coats of clear. I wouldnt spend more than 200 dollars to get this lip painted.

install is extremely easy, you wont find under 200 painted and installed though, the install is going to cost a pretty penny because they will rape you on labor.

About 150...170 out the door for mines.
Install it yourself.

They'll estimate about an hours worth of labor to intall yours and that'll be close to a hundred bucks. Screw that. Do it yourself in like ten to fifteen minutes.

double stick tape in the middle (underneath where is says veilside).
and 4 screws on the bottom (two on each side)

if you need instructions to install this, you have absolutly no common sense. It comes with double sided tape on the back of it, peel the thing off and stick the thing on, there are four holes in the bottom and you can just reuse the stock screws from the underside of the car and screw it in.

that assumes the fitment is decent. I know of a bunch of people that have received Urethane V1 lips that do not line up well around the grill area.

line it up best as possible, its the only thing you can do.... not that hard.
