Default Nismo Kit?

I plan on getting the full Nismo body kit for my Z in the near future, but which one? I hate to go with fiberglass but that seems to be the only thing available (other than cf). Is there a kit out there that a lot of you guys have that you would suggest? I am scared that if I just go grab one that seems like a deal it won't fit and will end up costing me a fortune and look like garbage. Please advise if you have a great replica kit on your Z that you would suggest.

On my previous car, I bought a replica bumper off of ebay because it was dirt cheap. the fitment wasn't bad (took about an hour for me to sand the edges down for a decent fit) but there was a lot of sanding and filling in the fiberglass where it was thin and smooth out the surface. I've always had good luck with the quality from extreme dimensions and gtp (importfan), but everything needs a little work done. But even the cheap a$$ knock-off bumpers aren't gonna be too bad for fitment but you're gonna make up the cost at the bodyshop with extra filling. It's the sideskirts that have to be dead-on. The sides and rear pieces of the U.S. spec kit are the same as the JDM counterparts so I would suggest to just go with those since they are an exact fit and made of urethane. And if you're that worried about having fiberglass on the front go with the U.S. spec lip. If you haven't seen it yet:

Can't belive you spent months looking for the part that you can order it from local dealer or find it in our vendor's site within 3 mins.

Try this way, you can save months if you follow one of the 4 ways:
1. Your local dealer
2. Performance Nissan
3. Courtesy Parts
4. Lee's Auto Malls

I replied to you on the other thread:

"No no. Some guy at ZDayZ had the entire Nismo kit, but his spoiler was different. He said it was a USDM style Nismo spoiler. In short, it looked exactly like the JDM Nismo Spoiler but the wing tips stopped several inches before touching the hatch. It looked really good and I'm interested because all the other Nismo JDM spoiilers come within about 1-2 cm from the hatch. He didn't tell me where he got it though."

Those wings from the links you gave me look like they come real close to touching the hatch (except maybe performance nissan's, but I can't really tell from the angle of those pictures). I'm just worried about the tips rubbing on my hatch (as I've seen from a few people at ZDayZ).

nissanparts4less if you are on east coast. They beat most prices on nismo and on shipping.

JDM spoiler is about 1/4 inch off from the hatch.
USDM spoiler doens't touch hatch at all.

All 3 links i gave you are exact same spoilers made by Nismo for US.

I belive you're talking about US spec Nismo. If you search, you will be able to find a few real forum member's spoiler pictures.

buy from Lee Auto Mall,

US nismo should not be fiberglass. If you want the quality stuff with perfect fitment get the urethane versions. Lee auto mall has them at a great price plus they paint them for you.

i just ordered my sides and rears from them.

Sang,
at lee auto mall if you order the full nismo kit do they charge 150 per part they paint or do they paint the entire kit for a certain price?
I mean if you think about it if you pay 150 for lip, skirts, wing and rear skirts thats like
600 to paint kit.
Is that about right

Thanks for the advise guys. I really had my heart set on the full front bumber but the lip will have to do (can't do fiberglass with the roads 'round here). The lip really looks good on your yellow Z pacfwu, I think I can live with that. Love the Ultra Yellow by the way. Hey SangWL, please post some pics when you get yours done, very interested to see how it turns out. Also, did you order yours pre-painted? Thanks again everyone.
