i was wondering, im about to change all the bulbs in my Z to LED bulbs.. the parking lights, signal, reverse, trunk light, interior dome lights, upgrade my HIDs... but how do you get access to all of thse bulbs? also, when upgrading your HIDs.. do you just change the bulbs just like a regular light bulb, or is there more to it? thanks for anybody's help!

Once inside you can get to anything you want to swap out. I just changed out the high-beams with something whiter and a bit more powerful. I've got LED's to replace the parking and turn lights front and rear coming from SuperBrightLEDs.com so I'll be in there again.

The manual actually has little cartoon drawings of how to gently pry open the overhead light and the trunk light. I wrapped a piece of chamie cloth over a flat blade screw driver and gently pried them open. Be aware that the overhead lights have little legs that have to be gently wiggled out once you've got the thing partway open.

 

Do a search for each of those, it has been covered a lot of times.

 

Well, I did a search and couldn't find anything on changing the reverse lights and the rear turn signals.

Can anybody help me out?

I was able to find posts on getting nto the headlights and the rear tailights but not the reverse and rear turn signals. The manual doesn't even show how.

 

How many Z owners does it take to change a light bulb?

I've looked briefly at the reverse lights and can't see a away in from the top, sides ... or bottom - so does that mean you take the bumper cover off?

 

All you have to do is remove the rear taillight and you are in. Takes less than five minutes.
