Look around on their site.

Click the link for tech support and you'll find out how to install.

I was going to buy these....but I just ordered the ones from zcarparts.com (they should be coming in next week) because the CF looked like a better match for my seibon hood.

Oh yeah, got them in last week.

I'll throw a write up complete with pics over on Motoring (I usually put all my reviews over there) when I get the pics developed (not in the digital age yet.)

But, in short.....

1.) They don't cover the entire mirror. They leave off the side next to the window and the side where the mirror is, so they cover the front, top, bottom, and outside. This means it looks good from the front, but if you are in the car, unless your Z is a superblack...you'll have 2 tone mirrors. I didn't like this fact.

2.) Price = crazy expensive. But I guess because they are 2 pieces of molded carbon fiber. But thats all you get....2 pieces of molded carbon fiber. I guess for the price I expected more, but when you think of it...it's like $100 a mirror cover (and my autotecknic cooling plate was just over $100) so I guess price is about right. But I couldn't help thinking that I coulda got replacement mirrors for a little bit more.

Summary:
When I got them in the mail I thought I was ripped off.
After thinking about the value and after seeing the end result after install I was happy with them and I would do it again.

Big tip:
If you don't have a superblack Z...paint your mirrors before you put the covers on. (I used spray paint because I sure as shlt wasn't paying someone to do it since I was covering most of the mirror up, and because the area the does show is so small and in an obscure place that the paint quality doesn't matter.)

cool, thanks for the awsome write up! Cant wait for the pics. If you can take pics from inside the car also (to see uncovered parts) that would be awsome. Thanks again!

Way ahead of ya bro...but on a different highway....

I did take pics from the inside....but, remember, I painted my mirrors black first, so you won't be able to tell where the unpainted parts are. (In person you would if you looked close, but on camera, I'm willing to bet, it's all going to look the same.)

Just believe me when I say that you'll want to paint your mirrors first before installing these. (Unless you don't care about everything looking perfect...but then again, if you didn't care about everything looking perfect you wouldn't buy $200 mirror covers in the first place

Oh yeah, I forgot, these install with silicone (included in package) while the carboncroft ones install with 3M (included in their package).

No, I keep debating.

I have a lemans sunset but I have a CF hood and the entire top of the car is painted black (roof, A+B pillars, hatch, and spoiler).

So the CF mirror covers and CF hood blend right into the rest of the black. (and BTW the CF of the Mirror covers matches perfectly with the CF of the Seibon hood, something that concerned me with the carboncroft mirror covers.)

But I keep debating if I want to get the seibon CF hatch as well. If I did that I would get the autotecknic CF A+B pillars to match. The only thing that keeps stopping me is if I did that I would want to get a CF spoiler as well. I have the Veilside V1 spoiler now and it is my favorite spoiler. If I could get that in a full CF, I would definitely take the CF plunge. The only other one I like is the Ings+1 low mount CF wing, but that's $2K and I'm NOT paying $2K for a F'n spoiler, even if it is CF!

Click the linky:

http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=18161

Good news: There are some good pics of my car there.

Bad news: These were the first pics I have of my car so they do not show my new hood or CF mirror covers (but that probably doesn't matter to ya.)

i have them, and i love 'em. the carbigncraft ones cover the whole mirror. as stated earlier, they attach with 3m tape, and they fit perfectly. my only disappointment is that they are the smaller cf pattern, unlike my hood which has the larger cf pattern. i'll take some pix and post them soon.
they came with these blue-tinted, magnified side mirror lenses that i don't really want and will be selling. anyone want them?
