How is the rear 3rd brake light covered. Did they have to remove the panel and then put the tint or did they just slip it through?
I think they just went around it. My car is covered in snow, or else I'd go look for ya.

I'm surprised they went so dark in the back. Can you see out the back window OK at night or is it tough to see what's behind you? And how is it affecting the mirror dimmer thing?
I can still see out the back fine at night. I haven't really been able to drive it since I got it tinted cuz of the snow, but when I really get to take her out, I'll let ya know. But, from what I've seen so far, there isn't a problem.

And, thanks for all the compliments everyone!

Jill,

Your Z looks incredible! I love the tint!

If I can ask a question about the pics... what kind of camera are you using? The pictures are very clear. Specifically, how many megapixels is the camera (if digital, of course).

Thanks,
Todd

It is less functional because it is less needed.

Tint=less blinding light=less need for dimming mirror

I've had a couple of cars with tint and dimming mirrorrs. You still don't get blinded, and the mirrors don't have to work as much. Is that a problem? The end result is still the same

Thanks! I just bought the camera last week. It's a Canon Powershot s200. It's a 2.0 megapixel. One more thing, all these pics are resized (I still haven't had the time to learn how to use the thing!)

Yea, it's not packed down here. I'm in the suburbs, so it's pretty quiet. I'm only 10 minutes from Philly though, so I can easily get away from the quietness if I get sick of it.

Looks great! I was thinking about some tinting myself. How much should an average tinting jog run in $$.

Thanks! I forget how much I paid - I think it was like 150 or so - maybe even less. A good tinting job should be anywhere from 140-200 depending on what windows you get done and what type of film is used. There's a place down there, or at least I think it is...Hot Spot Tinting that about 10 members got their tint done there. I think they're doing special for the members, so check it out.
