Does anyone know what company makes the gauges for the 350Z? Can stock looking guages (same color, etc) be bought for other information (EGT, Air/Fuel, etc) from somewhere? I do not want new guages to clash with the factory ones.

 

if you are talking about the center cluster (RPM/GAS/MPH), www.nrauto.com makes them in aluminum/white, that's where i got mine. It also replaces the fuel pressure/volt meter.

 

Defi D series match the interior lighting the best, honorable mention goes to Autometer Nexus, Autometer Carbon, and Defi BF series.

 

I haven't replaced mine yet so I can't answer from first hand experience but I like the SpeedHut ones the best based on looks, options, and price.

SpeedHut lets you put text, logos (even your own!), flames, stripes, etc. on your dials. Very cool...

 

Thank you very much. Thats what I was looking for. I had seen the Autometer ones, but none looked close enough. The Defi looks almost perfect.

Next question. Does anyone have the Defi D series installed in their Z? How does it look? Anyone have pictures?

 

Oh, I'm sorry, I totally misread your question. You weren't asking for replacement faces...

 

I like those faces.. but is there a way to get them so they dont light up amber, but perhaps blue instead?

 

the gauge face itself is amber, and the light the illuminates the gauges is amber as well.

Therefore if you want to change the light color of the gauge faces you need to find a way to change the bulbs behind to blue as well as the face itself.

As far as nrauto offering them, no they don't.

 

Check the website that kaitain posted www.speedhut.com , they have the faces with a different color and different lighting) the only things I think that would still be amber would be the needles.
