Default Antenna/Rear Wiper removal

last week i went to home depot and got a faucet hole cover and used one of the washers that came with the cover to cover the hole from my rear wiper and then put a bolt/nail through the middle to cover it. The result was very clean because the metal on the washer kind of blended in with my car (silverstone). I will post up pictures of it when i get the chance.

also, i went to the local honda dealer today and took a look at both the s2k and element antennas. I got the element antenna because it was a bit thinner and shorter, and the base of it was smaller so that there wouldnt be as much overhang as there would be on the s2k antenna. I lost no reception and my car looked a lot cleaner. i suggest getting the element one, it is only 2 dollars more also.

any other tips to make my car look cleaner?

I just did the chrome covers over the front grill. Cost about 30 bucks, and took about 5 minutes to install. It's really clean and looks good. I found mine on ebay and was really happy with the look of it. Brings together the emblems, door handles and I have a shiny billet stubby antenna on mine. I will try to put the pics up on cardomain and I"ll let you know the website. I've been needing to make one for a while. I'll let you know when it's up.

It may take a second to load up cuz the pictures are huge. I'll have to shrink em some but I don't have time right now. So, just minimize it and give it some time, .

I got mine on ebay (reall billet, I would say no. It's probably stainless steel, but it looks good) and it was $15 shipped. I'll try to see who the seller was cuz he was awesome and it only took like 2 days to get here.

I went to the Honda dealer and asked to see the Element and S2K antennas. They are both exactly the same size. The difference is the Element antenna is plain, has a one-piece design and slightly thinner than the s2k The s2k has a 'cap' on top and has a circular ridge towards the base. I went with the s2k since it looked nicer in IMHO.

Element Antenna (Honda Part Number 39151-S6A-E02) .-

S2K Antenna (Honda Part Number 39151-S2H-E01) .-
