Default Removed rear wiper + covered hole *PICS*

The rear end looks alot cleaner with it removed and I never used it.

It was a simple process. The hardest part was twisting the rear wiper off and finding something to cover the hole with.

Took a trip to Ace hardware and found a plastic 1 inch hole cover. It is in the section with all the screw, nuts, and bolts if anyone is looking

They also have metal ones but I picked up the plastic one to paint daytona blue. I cut the tabs off the bottom and then superglued the cover over the hole. It fits perfectly.

why would you buy something so small off of ebay, pay shipping ($2? $4?) and wait 2 weeks to get it. just go down to the ace hardware, pay the 2 bucks ( at most) for the part and go home

Do you ahve to take out the motor for this to work (i'm talking about the wiper's electric motor).

+1 I'm thinking that the rotor post from the wiper motor stick-up and out of the hole and that the e-bay "cell phone stubby" threads onto it to camoflage that post. My garage has a growing area of stuff I've removed and replaced on the car so far ... so why not the wiper? I'm not so certain on the wiper motor.

when I twisted my wiper off, the rotor post popped out and came off with the wiper.

becareful if this happens because it will fall out and may hit the body of the car and scratch it.

if it comes off with the wiper then you will not have to remove the wiper motor at all.

just pop the cap off the wiper, loosen the nut on the wiper, twist it off and done.

I agree that it looks cleaner, but do you never drive in the rain?

I took mine off too, rear wiper is pointless in AZ. Note guys do not tug on it when removing I scratch and dinged my hatch. I did the plug thing with silicon but it looked bad so I took my car in and had the hatch professionally done and removed my dings as well as two holes behind nissan emblem. I will post some nice pics over the weekend. Glad you like the mod to bro

That looks worse than leaving the wiper on IMO. Why have a fake antenna in that obscure spot? That's tres lame.

I like the black dot much better.

You should paint the cover with some touch up paint.
