Default CAI induction locks from Zeetoyz

Here's a couple of pics of my latest project... the CAI locks for the NISMO intake from Zeetoyz. I scratched the heck out of them during install, but that's because I am a klutz. I think they give the engine bay quite the look. What do you think?

What problems did you have? Mine didnt fit 100%. I had to get creative with the rubber sleeves to make sure everything sealed properly, and on one I had to use a dremmel to grind it down to allow for the lock to screw on properly. I know there's like 3 versions of the NISMO CAI out there, but they could be made to fit.

Really? Wow, it was sold to me as V2, so it is news to me. I guess that is a good thing!!!

On the lower portion (the little elbow that plugs into the water diverter), I had to double up on the rubber sleeves to get a good fit. My locks came with rubber sleeves, and my CAI also had sleeves, so I took one of the CAI sleeves and cut a 1" ring that fit snugly onto the elbow, and inserted that into the sleeve inside the lock. Otherwise, I couldn't get a good seal.

On the middle portion, I could not get the lock to close for the life of me. The tube expanded the sleeve too much and prevented the lock from threading properly. So, I took a dremmel and grinded (ground?) the sleeve down to where it would fit. What a mess of plastic dust!!!!!

The top portion fit fine. The key for me was to make sure I was using the right lock on the right spot - 2 of the locks are uneven, meaning one opening is larger than the other. You can tell by a little diagonal slant on the side of the lock. These two go on the ends (on the throttle body at the top and at the elbow on the bottom end - the wide ends go to the outside). The 3rd lock is a straight lock and goes in the middle. I drew a little picture in MS Paint to explain it better:
