Default Base Model Headlights

How easy or hard is it to tell the HID headlights from the base model halogens(when the lights are turned off). I haven't seen a base model yet and was curious.

heh, actually, if you cant tell the headlights, the base and enthusiast are inseperable unless you get upclose and personal to check out the steering wheel, and mirror.

They're both projector style; I believe the housings are the same--

the housings are identical on all models. i just replaced my base model halogens with a upgraded hid system. and now its much brighter than any other 350z with factory hids. if anyone is thinking of upgrading their base model with hid, let me know and i can get you a great deal on the kits, since i im a delear for hids. im using a 7500k kit with hella ballast.

careful of your terms there, brightness is the wrong term I think. the 4500k stock bulb is actually brighter if you were to test them.

but the 7500 will be "bluer". good for appearance, not quite as powerful.
