Exclamation HIDs HELP

I am trying to install a HID aftermarket light kit and was wondering if it is dependable, will it blow my fuses or melt the headlight? Also, do i have to drill the back of the headlight? Where are good places to mount the ballast and starter? I'd appreciate any info, thanks

I installed an aftermarket HID kit I bought from a member here and haven't had a problem with them.

I didn't have to do any drilling, though.

You didnt have to drill a hole in the cap that seals the light? There is no other way to get the wires in there

you have to drill a hole on the cap but that's about it as far as drilling. and no it will not melt your headlight or blow the fuses.. I have mine since last year and I never had any problem with it. after you install it make sure you adjust your headlight beam. there's a place at te bottom of the headlight assembly where you can place your ballast. do a search on this forum about it. There's a couple of threads that discusses this upgrade

the way I installed the kit you just kinked the wires b/w the cap on the back of light.

well, the reason escobar can't do that is because escobar is talking about an aftermarket kit (i suppose), while the one i sold you is an OEM kit, which is why your installation was a breeze
