Anyways, looking at the pix on ebay, the front look sorta plain without the emblem.

I wouldn't choose this bumper if I want an agressive look for my Z....

This may work for you. Have them ship the bumper using Greyhound (dirt cheap) to Seattle. Then drive to the Greyhound station to pick it up. Go on to shipgreyhound.com for pricing but that is the cheapest form of shipping I've ever found.

Actually Vancouver is very close to US border....
It is possible that I tell gruppe-s to ship the bumper to Seattle...and then I drive down to get the bumper?? But it seem sooo complicated...
u guys got any idea?!

Wow... thx for the info!!
so the total shipping is $36??
So... Is somebody going to do a "review" write-up after they get their new N-Style bumper all painted and installed? Those of us who are less adventureous want to know how you rate the quality, fitment, etc.
I was recently in a wreck, so I've been thinking of getting this bumper. I took the picture of this bumper over to the dealer bodyshop, and the head guy over there said that from the shinyness of the picture it seemed this bumper is not primed and ready for painting unlike the OEM bumper. He said that he'll have to bake it or something in order to prep it for painting, and that might warp the bumper. Also he doesn't want to gurantee the paint job on it. I think he is trying to get out of giving me the credit for the price diff if I got this bumper, and probably wants to charge me more to prep it.
Has anyone had any issues with the paint or fitment on this bumper? Is it correct that there is considerable prepping/baking/whatever involved before it is ready for primer?
Thanks for your help.

Hey guys,
PU is a little bit different to paint then normal ABS plastic bumpers, due to the different materials and different type of mold-release agent.
Here's basically what you want to do:
Lay the bumper out in the sun for a few days. It doesn't need to be baked, just place it out in the sun, let any embedded release agent "sweat" out from the UV rays. Then use Dupont 2320 or 2319 cleaner and wipe the bumper down. It's a $15 cleaner, and most body shops should have it. It's now ready to paint, the painter will probably want to sand it down.
Hope this helps. Cheers

Nice bumper! I for one HATE replicas but this is the first time I have ever seen where the replica is better then the OEM part. Kudos to you guys. I may get this from you guys in future. But out of curiosity, lets say I got this bumper in December. How the hell is the sun gonna sweat out my bumper when I live in SEATTLE?!!?!?!

I'm having this painted and installed this next week, once I get the bumper. Is it absolutely necessary to do this? It's a reputable shop..can I just drop it off and assume they know what to do with it or do I need to give them specific instructions? Please let me know.
Surely somebody can tell me if a clear bra can be installed on this N-Style bumber. I know that cutting the bra material "on the car" is a no - no, and this bumper is just enough different from stock that the pre-cut clear bra kits for stock bumpers probably won't work all that well... so, back to the original question: Can a a clear bra can be installed on this N-Style bumber without doing any "on the car" cutting?
Thanks
Thanks

I didn't receive any messages from your body shop. Do you have their contact info that you can PM me with?
Thanks,
Tom
