The fitment is an "A" fitment. It fits better than the genuine Nismo bumper, because the Nismo bumper is a handlaid fiberglass bumper.

Polyurethane differs from fiberglass, where fiberglass uses a hand-made wooden or fiberglass mold that is subject to wear, temperature fluctuations, and just plain human error, as most bumpers are either hand-laid, or worse yet created with a chop-gun.

Polyurethane on the other hand uses a full metal tooling and is injected with high pressure machines. The cost of tooling for the metal tooling alone is almost $20K USD (think plastic injection). We can't afford not to get the fitment right , and of course there will not be any problems with human error and mold deterioration. Bumper #1 and bumper #999 will be identical.

Cheers,

Gary

Default I want one!

TOM,

This is Jason, I spoke to you this afternoon. Calling from Phoenix AZ, might help you remember.

I would like to place an order for 1 bumper if you have any left - I realize it's first come first serve but just in case you see this post before I can get a hold of you via phone - give me a ring. If you don't still have my #, email me at jasonplummer@mac.com and I will respond or call within 5 min. or less.

Can you tell I want one!?

odd question but does anyone know the cost of a oem replacement bumper? I need to replace my stocker and am wondering the cost difference is between that and this. Thanks. That is unless someone wants to sell their SS stocker when you get this bumper in...

Someone hit my bumper so when i called around here's what I got..
Dealership: $300
Body shop: $284
Guy who hit me's insurance quote: $169 (refurbished, of course)

So needless to say I'm spending the extra dough and getting this one.

how much lower (closer to the ground) is this bumper than the stock bumper?

My stock bumper has some damage on one corner from hitting a tire on the freeway so I am trying to decide if I should get this bumper or repair mine....

Would this opening be better or worse than stock for my intercooler?? it has that little piece in the middle that looks like it might interrupt airflow??
