im looking into getting 2 new seats for my Z... the driver seat will be one with sidewalls, so when i make fast turns, i stay in place.. and also for added track safety. and the passenger seat will just be one that can take shoulder harnesses.. and im also going to have a harness bar and shoulder harnesses. i have a few questions about this set up...

has anybody done anything like this before?
what are good brands to go with? im looking at sparco and veilside.. if they say the name brand on it.. i want it to match
what are some good harness bars out there? i saw one from sparco
whats the cost of this total set up? am i looking over $1500?

do you want the seat to recline or not?

Sparco does not offer a Z harness bar as I recall - only for the G35

 

Two decent seats is going to cost you about $1200-$1500 plus the harness and bar. The recline question is good. But also are you planning on running sub-belts. If so make sure you get a seat with a sub-belt hole.

There is a member here who makes a very nice harness bar and scroth harnesses.
