Ok, so I noticed that my reverse lights on the back bumper are not lighting up when I put the car in reverse...
I swapped out the bulbs, and still nothing.
Is there a fuse for this, like the rest of the lamps? I found the "Rev Lamp" relay... could this cause the problem?
If anyone has info, please let me know!

I'll assume you have a manual - the auto has a relay vice the switch.
From the ignition switch there is a 10A fuse (#71) under the hood - or as Nissan puts it "Intelligent Power Distribution Module Engine Room".

Note the auto-transmission relay location

See fuse #71 in the upper left-hand corner.
Yellow wire with red stripe.
There's a joint connector.

Back-up lamp switch on the transmission.
Orange wire.
A bunch of connectors - two lights.

So is fuse #71 for the SWITCH, or the lights themselves?
I hate getting into that panel, because its a huge pain in the azz. Nissan should have made this way more accessable.
I'll check the fuse, and see whats up. Thanks Paul!

I have the manual in PDF ... but I don't understand what I am looking for.
From the diagram, there is only one fuse (#71) , and I went out and checked the IPDM, and its labled "A/T Cont".
The fuse is fine.
Would this lead me to think the relay is shot? It seems to be the only other part of the equation.

It's probably going to be easier to get to the manual stick's switch rather than pull out that fuse panel.
In the manual transmission they just show a physical switch with just two pins which closes as the level hit's "R" I think. Shorting across that guy ought to bring the lights on too - you would see +12 VDC on pin #1 if the fuse was good.
Dang - just read the 6MT in your signature. Where you see relay just thing on/off switch with two pins.

I can pull up the shifter trim piece and poke around in there. Do you know if the switch is UNDER the shift guide plate?
I'll look around in there, and see what I come up with.
(and you're right, its WAY easier to get in the shift switch area... but I have gone into the IDPM a few times before... so it only took a min.

It's hard to tell. I have an auto (and two bad legs to go with it!) so I have never been there. From the pictures it looks like it's high on the driver's side, even with the boot area and may be 2-3" down. I'm just making WAG's here as the picture isn't that detailed and shows the switch in relation to the whole transmission stem to stern.

Ahh, cute.
Yeah, you really can't seem to get to that area from inside the cabin... I just took the whole assembly apart.
Looks like she might go to the dealer. At least its under warranty
Thanks again for all your help Paul. Hopefully they can figure it out!
