mine is cut from 2024 Aluminum. I should have made it from 6061 caus ethe 2024 needs some form of coating. I'll have it clear anodized soon.
I suspect Wadd will make them from stainless and/or 6061 Aluminum.

I'm not sure what he's charging... I think $60, but as the designer of the piece, I can tell you the install takes about 5 minutes.
Just pop the 6 plastic bumper clips... put the piece on the front end... and push the clips back down. then you need to put some clear rubber bumper thingies (used on cabinet doors) on two areas on the under side of the hood where the hood slightly touches the aluminum piece.
thats it....

Is it possible to extend the plate, contour it and cover up the cheapo plastic cover on top of the radiator? It'll probably require more sophisticated hardware to mold it.

I had considered that.... it could be done but would require the aluminum piece to be stamped with a die the same shape as the radiator... tooling for this would be spendy...
I'd say it would only be cost effective if over 5,000 would be made. may take awhile to sell that many right now
