The factory ones come with new more heavy duty struts for the rear hatch though.

You need to replace the struts with stronger ones when you put the spoiler on otherwise the hatch won't stay up.

Exactly. Funny though, because the dealer says they replaced my struts with the ones the spoiler came with, but it still doesnt seem so easy to open the hatch.
