Default 2006 Door panel group buy?

Everyone is talking about doing a group buy for the headlights and taillights of the 2006 model. Has anyone considered a group buy on the 2006 door panels? The pre 06 panels leave something to be desired...mainly armrest padding and cubholders. However, the 06 has these. Definitely cool if you ask me. Anyone interested in a group buy for them?

you'd only be basically adding some leather and a cup holder...not sure if it'd be worth the price nissan would ask for a pair

good idea

but for a cheaper alternative, and without having cup holders, u could have the armrests covered in leather like i did. Nicely padded on top and orange stitched to match the seats......but they were a very very tight fit, theres not much room bw the clips and door panel, and took a fair bit of ingenuity to sit flush

combined with the evo-r cf door switch covers, i think the 03-05 door panels will look quite good

True, but then you dont get the cup holders. I might even update the center console with the 06 one as well. But Depending on price I'd be up for the whole door panel.

One a side note...where the hell did you get that lighted door sill piece? That looks awesome! Daddy want!

the armrests were a custom job, so i spose ud just approach a trimmer in the US, just make sure the edges arent too thick or else ull never tuck the armrest under the window switch, or get the rear to snap in

the sills are from unlimitedtuning. They are a very nice piece but require a fair bit of maintenance. Everytime u wash the car, water gets inside the clear perspex, so i use an air compressor to blow it out. The sills are part of an ice install i had done recently..... https://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-video/144790-install-from-downunder.html

So they get water in them? Hmm...water and electronics tend to be a bad mix. Do they replace the stock sills or just go on top?

yeap im waiting for the day i get zapped

the leds appear to be wrapped in a sealed enclosure, but who knows, i guess ill see how they hold up over time. I only used double sided tape to stick them in case i wanted to rip em off later on

they sit on top of the alu factory sills. U need the alu sills or else there will be no silver poking through the perspex and the lights wont glow

So would anyone be up for this group buy? Where is that guy that can get the parts? The same guy that is trying to setup a deal with the 06 lights.
