Your Z lloks great.
Sorry i didnt know that the question had been asked. Ok the hood comes with a factory latch. I literally installed this by myself after laying some towels down on the surrounding quarter panels. As for the stock strut bar rubbing, it does. Although its more of touching and less of rubbing. In other words it will leave small black marks on your strut bar but nothing audible and nothing damaging. As for fitment it was perfect and i just screwed it in. It looked good not painted also. Ive had the hood for about 2 months, im very happy with it.

I have a Seibon CF VT hood with a JIC CF front strut...no rubbing issues. Driving in the rain is perfectly fine too.

I think 350 is cheap, and the quality looks amazing! I was getting quotes of 500 - 600 for a nismo spoiler and that wasn't including install.

I had my front and rear bumpers painted and installed for 980. I found a lot of cracks and pits after I got it back from the shop and they said tough they weren't going to try and fix it for me. That's very cool that the shop that painted yours was willing to go back and fix it for you.

I ended up having my nismo spoiler and side skirts painted at Maaco for $300. The spoiler looks great, but under neath the side skirts there are some paint scratches and it doesn't quite match... It's hard to find good paint shops...

Yeah i have found itty bitty flaws but no pits or cracks. There are a few spots with spider webbing etc but the paint they applied is so much thicker than stock im not scared to zymol it. Honestly the job they did made me pretty loyal to them. I know how hard UY is to blend and make right bc it has so much flake in it. The manager said he had to alternate guys working on it bc it would play tricks on their eyes and would wear them out. While the car was parked outside people would stop in and ask if they could do that color on their car, he said no and laughed.
