Default Cleaned up a bit, painted CF Nismo Spoiler, dropped CF hood

What do you guys think. I got rid of the carbon fiber hood and painted the top of my CF nismo spoiler. Just trying to go for a cleaner look

This a pic I took before i painted the spoiler. I just thought it looked cool. I was playing around with the night shot on my camera and I cleaned it up a bit with photoshop.

Here's some before pics. I still have to take some good after pics but the weather's been kinda crappy lately. I didn't want to paint the carbon fiber hood because I thought it would be dumb to paint a whole hood silverstone when I have the stock one chillin in my closet. The carbon fiber hood is for sale just in case anyone is interested.

Yea, I liked the carbon fiber look too. But I kinda wanted the more uniform clean look you know.

I was actually considering getting the CF Nismo spoiler and doing the reverse. I wanted to paint the base and leave the wing portion CF. Anyone out there do that? Also which cf nismo did you get and how was the fitment? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Rick, I don't think anyone can compete with you though when it comes to carbon fiber. I think last time I saw it, the only thing that wasn't carbon fiber was your gas cap, haha. I'm definately feeling it though. It's lookin like a full on track car. I don't track my car so I was going for more of a "might race you to the next light" look, haha.

FstQban - I got the spoiler used from a member on this site. The fitment is decent but I'm not sure of what brand it is. I can tell you they charged me $200 to paint the top portion though. And I haven't seen anyone do what you described but definately try and photochop it first to see if you like it.

Sup Marty, thanks bro.

B-unit, no prob man, but I can't take credit for the idea either. It was originally Jason's wing, from performance nissan. When I bought it from him, something had left sort of a blemish the top of the wing. The wing itself was structurally sound, that blemish was just in the clear coat. He was the one that actually thought it would be a good idea to paint the top. Maybe he'll chime in and mention where he bought the wing. I'm pretty sure it isn't from Evo-R though because their's doesnt have a base does it?
