Anyone have photos of 10,000 or 12,000k HID? Preferably ones you took (means they're not fake).

 

Do a search as I have made a post regarding this. Many people have given good advice before doing something like this, which is all inside the post.

 

10000K is actinic... this is the light spectrum used in saltwater fish tanks. Lumen output is weak compared to same wattage in other light spectrums.

Just as a tip if you're taking photographs of the lights of a car set your digital camera's white balance to manual and pick something around 4500-5500. If you leave it in automatic which is the default the camera will do its damnest to take any color temperture away and make them dead nutz white.
