Default To Nissan Redesign The Tail Lights Again

If anyone from Nissan is reading, please pass the word along to redesign the 350z tail lights. leave the same shape, but change the L.E.D.s to the shape of a circle, like the G35.

besides the fact that the Z has nothing circular about it (besides 4 wheels), using a circular tail light is a horrible idea.

The new 06 taillights remind me of those squid things on the Matrix movies.

I personally like my tail lights just as they are...

umm, please, if nissan reads this, do NOT listen to the post haha!

the original design purpose of the G35 circular LED was to emmulate the Skyline dual round light theme's of past GT-S, GT and GT-R Skyline's; aka. the G35 Sedan and Coupe.

The Nissan Z has no purpose or intent or involvement with circular tail light schemes; aka. Datsun S30, S31 Z31 Z32 never was and never will be.

If anything, if they had it with as many led's as the concept's taillights that would look interesting. But i'm not gonna complain, i really like the new led tails, make the old ones look so cheap how they light up.

My only complaint is that the LEDs seem to have no pattern or symetry at all; they are just random clusters that light up. At least put them in straight ows or something that flows with the lines of the car...

Anybody got a pic of the concept's tails? I don't remember them.

Yeah, well the bottom 2 rows line up, but the top one seems to just try to fit in where it can.

I can't seem to find a picture of them lit up, but you should be able to see in this picture, there's ALOT of leds in it.

Yeah, now that looks nice; Individual LEDs lined up like the FX45's instead of those funky clusters. At least their laid out in an orderly fassion. Think I'll just stick with my '03 incandescent tails; I can think of much better uses for $400. Not like I ever get to see them light up anyway...
