Since you asked, I like your before clean look minus the sticker on the side mirrors. But if the stripes makes you happy, good for you.

I don't think it's about age, but you are right that the stripes aren't bad, it's just depends on your taste.
But think about it this way, how many Lamborghinis and Ferraris do you see with strips on the side of them? Now I know my Z is not a Lamborghini nor a Ferrari, but to me, it is (since that is what I can afford right now), And I ain't gonna put stickers on it. So I don't think it's an age thing, just how you feel about your car and what it should look like.
